I miss being blonde…

So recently I dyed my hair brown and at first it was really dark and I was quite disappointed even thought my hairstylist (and good friend) told me it was normal and that a lot of the colour would disappear as I washed my hair. I didn’t have the heart to tell her that I actually didn’t really like it, since she’s a good friend and I didn’t want to hurt her feelings so I left the salon smiling and I thought to myself that I was going to wash my hair 12 times that night to make it the color that I wanted.

So I did… I bought some Head&Shoulders on my way home and washed my hair a couple of times for a few days but I wasn’t anywhere close to the color I had wanted originally so I bought hair dye and made the color a lot lighter.

But I’m still not happy about my hair colour and I’m more confused now that my friends are either saying : ‘’ I think you looked better in blonde’’ or ‘’You rock as a brunette’’.

before and after picture (not naked btw on first pic, just wearing a tank top)

So I really don’t know that to do with my hair anymore! I already bought a dye removing kit… and I also ordered blond extensions so I have until they arrived to make up my mind!

What should I do with my hair now…

Boyfriend cookies!

Last week, it was my boyfriend's birthday and I'm terrible when it comes to finding a good gift but lukily, my boyfriend loves sweets so I was inspired by the cookies in Hana Yori Dango/Boys Over Flowers!

You will need;

Shortbreads Cookies (the face):
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon of salt
2 sticks of unsalted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract

Chocolate Cookies (the hair):
1 stick of unsalted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup of white sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
1 cup of all-purpose flour
1/4 cup of cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1/8 teaspoon of salt

Like any recipe, mix the wet ingredients and dry ingredients separately then gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients bowl and mix until you reach perfect consistency. Roll the shortbread dough in a large tube shape and let it cool in the fridge and repeat the same process for the chocolate cookie dough.

Once the shortbread has cooled down, cut round pieces and place them on a baking tray. Make sure that the face are not too big otherwise it will be harder to cook them evenly. Take your chocolate cookie dough and using a chopstick, gently place the chocolate dough over the shortbread dough. This part is the hardest; the chocolate cookie might eat quickly so you want to be really gentle while shaping the hair.

Don't worry if it looks a little bit uneven, once they are baked,
they will look really nice!

Once your baking tray is covered with cookie versions of your boyfriend, place them in theoven (that you preheated at 350F) for 8 to 10 minutes or until the edges are starting to brown.

There you have it! As for decorating, I added funny faces before placing the cookies in the oven but they didn't show nicely once baked so I recommend that you buy cookie icing (the type that hardens!) and make you own funny expressions!

Bon appétit !

Fall favourites

Hi everyone~
It’s Friday night and I’m blogging! It’s actually my boyfriend’s birthday today, we went out for diner with a few friends and it was a lot of fun. I was really tired after diner so I headed back to the hotel to rest and now I feel a little bit better so I thought I should show you a few outfit pictures I took lately!
I showed this scarf in my last shopping loot post, this is definitely my favourite scarf for this season. My friends say I remind them on Lady Gaga when I wear that scarf ( blonde + straight bangs + tube scarf = Lady Gaga apparently) but I think it’s nice… I like Lady Gaga. She’s eccentric and crazy, I like people like that :)
Another season favourite is STRIPES… I have been shopping a lot with Migy lately and I’ve told her; ‘’ If you see me picking up something with stripes, you have to tell me to put it down’’! I already have way too many stripe sweater and t-shirts!
I really love my hair on that picture, I was having a good hair day until I stepped outside… it was RAINING… sigh… Ô Canada~
Finally, I bought this faux-fur trim/scarf at H&M two days ago and I REALLY love it! I know monster fur is really popular right now, I see it everywhere in store but surprisingly… I don’t see anyone wearing it! That’s good for me I guess… I won’t end up wearing the same thing as half the population of Montreal!
Hope you like this small update :) What are your favourite fall items right now?

Circle lenses: EOS Adult Green

Wow! I haven’t reviewed a pair of circle lenses in a while! I have to be honest, I’ve been busy but I feel so bad for not reviewing earlier… mukuCHU is such a sweet and understanding sponsor! Recently, EOS released a bunch of interesting circle lenses so I will have more reviews for you very soon!!

I already reviewed the EOS Adult in Violet but I think the Green needs a review of its own since the effect on the eyes is so different from the Violet! Also, the design was renewed and compared side by side to the EOS Violet, it has improved a lot!

Disclaimer: These lenses were sponsored by mukuCHU, however this review is based on my own personal experience.

Comfort: Like I mentioned in my previous reviews, I have very sensible eyes so wearing lenses in a dry place is quite uncomfortable for me… so I tested these lenses at my college, where the air is VERY dry. My eyes felt a little bit blurry after a few hours but drops fixed this problem quickly.

Enlargement: these lenses are 14.0mm so don’t expect a very big enlargement, but it’s subtle enough for me.

Color and Design: the color is AMAZING, it is much more saturated and vibrant then the Adult Violet. The clear pixels are still very present which helps create a perfect blend with my natural eye color. I would recommend these lenses for anyone who has light eyes, especially blue eyes since blue blends nicely with green. I think these lenses would be very nice for cosplay as well since the colour really pops out in pictures. I received A LOT of compliments while wearing these at school and I couldn’t help but camwhore a little bit while taking pictures for this review!

I hope you enjoyed this circle lenses review. For a pleasant transaction, please visit mukuCHU’s shop if you would like to purchases these lenses!

Which lenses should I review next? I find the Glitter and Flower series really interesting!

Someone is a psycho bitch (hint: it’s not me)

If you follow me on twitter, you may have noticed that I’ve been dealing with some online and offline drama lately. I don’t seem to be alone since both Violet and Fuyume were having drama on their side too.

WTF is going on in the blogosphere???

Anyway… I hope you’re in for a lengthy post because this is going to be one hell of a ride…

Four years ago, I started dating my ex kung fu teacher, I was 17 and he was 19 at the time. We had a good relationship but I was annoyed at the fact that a 14 year old, that we are going to call KA, was obviously crushing on him. Not that I felt the competition or anything like that but she would post A LOT on his FB wall and talk to him as much as possible between classes. He was too nice to ever say anything to her but it did annoy him too.

Eventually we broke up ) and we went our separate ways. Then, some time in 2009, I posted a link to an articled in the Dailymail about a woman killing herself and her daughter after years of bullying. KA suddenly contacted me to ask me if I used to be bullied and it irritated me because the tone she used in her message was as if bullying was something to be taken lightly, with lol and haha everywhere.

So I wrote this.

Then she sent me 6 messages because she was unhappy with the fact that I blogged about her. Also she pointed out that it wasn’t nice of me to write how, in the past, I would have loved to shove her in a wall because she was annoying so I edited my post and that was it.

A few months went by, left comments here and there but most of the time I ignored them... until she contacted me in July, after I had received numerous defamatory questions on formspring. In one day, she sent me 4 emails, 5 formspring novels and some comments on my blog, basically to tell me that I was wrong about her liking my ex, how she thought she knew me better then I expected her to and finally, the sappy story of her life. Those e-mails were not pretty… I would screenshot them for you but they are quite long and in French. Translation isn’t a problem but what she wrote is a little bit hard for me to interpret in English.

I lost my patience there; I contacted my ex and asked him what was her deal… turns out she had been harassing him all summer of 2009 until he blocked her on FB. Since then, he never heard from her again so we concluded that since she couldn’t get through him, I was next.

So I wrote to her one e-mail that basically tells her to stop reading my blog and to stop writing to me. She then replied that she understood, everything was good and that she would never write to me again.

And I believed her.

She wrote to me again last week and I told her I didn’t want to read any link or blog she wanted me to read.

I’ve seriously been considering going to the police station and report this as harassment. I’ve talked about it with a friend who was victim of harassment before and she told me that even if her e-mails were not threatening, the fact that she keeps on contacting me to tell me she dislikes me is still harassment since she won’t stop even thought I’ve asked her countless times already to stop. I’ve also told my mom about this and she also agrees with me; reporting this might actually scare her enough to the point that she will actually stop!

So why in hell am I posting this blog post?

Because I know she reads my blog (even if she dislikes me… how does that even make sense???) and in a way, I want her to know how serious I am about this.

I know I joke a lot and that I am generally a sarcastic person but I’m at my limit. I’ve printed every e-mail, every FB messages, every Formspring questions and so on and it’s quite a large document. Just to give you an idea… I had to use an industrial stapler…

So KA, this is my message to you.

Leave me alone. Or try me.
but trust me you don’t want to try me…
