Hi everyone!! :D Ok this blog is so being neglected… [insert blabber about being busy at work and planning trip to Korea here]
I cut my hair!
I went to Ideal Nature, thinking I should get my bangs back… but Carlos talked me out of it and made me realize how side bangs really look nice on me so he fixed them for me. As he was fixing my bangs… I realized I was fed up with my longest layer being too long compared to the rest of my hair: I haven’t cut my in months since I am trying to grow out the layers… hence why it looked ridiculous. Anyway, I asked Carlos to cut 2-3 inches off my hair!
I feel quite short for me but I really like it! I know it’ll take some time to grow back to the length that it was but at least, now everything will be about the same length! Yay!
I’m leaving for South Korea in one week! AAAAHH! I just finished filling the form for Registraion of Canadians Abroad and I just realized how SOON my trip is! I worked all summer in order to save up for this trip and it’s finally here! I’m sort of freaking out right now haha
I debated with myself whether I should bring my laptop with me or use my brother’s iPad to keep in touch with everyone and blog about my trip when I come back but I decided to bring my computer along ( I’m changing computer soon… might as well bring it on a last trip with me haha ) and blog as I am travelling. Of course, I will not blog everyday but I think I will be able to get a lot of interesting articles for those who are interested in South Korea! Food, musicals, touristic spots, shopping, beauty, etc!
Until then, please bare with me! I have a few posts coming up later this week about recent beauty gets, shopping I did last month and a special care package from Hong kong from Emily (THISWASFOREVER) that I can’t wait to show you! :D
Have a nice week-end!!!!
(btw… Am I neurotic if I start packing one week ahead of time?)

Hi everyone~ Like I mentionned earlier this week, I have a bit of time off lately so yesterday I had time to meet up with co-workers and have lunch :) Then I passed by F21 and bought a really nice pink crochet poncho (that I will show you in another post!).
I really liked what I wore yesterday so here goes!
Chiffon top: Sirens
Belt and shoes: H&M
I also wore Melliesh lashes for the first time that day… I feel kinda awkward posting my first attempt since I’m aware everything would have look nicer with bottom lashes, but I guess top lashes are a decent start right?
Not too bad… the lighting is edited since the lights in Condordia University are HORRIBLE (yay for apps~) Anyway, that’s it for today~ Have a nice payday! woohoo!!

Just to make my day a bit brighter, I finally received more lashes and canmake cream cheeks blushes! Canada Post was on strike then on a lock-out for around a month for a month and mail delivery is still very slow so I wasn’t expecting to see those before I leave for Korea… yeah… that’s how bad it is >.>
I’m glad I received more canmake cream blushes! If you read my review, you know that I’m absolutely in love with those! Not a day goes day without using these blushes! Since summer started, I wanted to use a different colour so I got Marshmallow Pink (08) and Strawberry Whip (03).
I don’t think it’s necessary for me to review these blushes again: just like for Sweet Apricot (05) and Cherry Pink (02), they are very creamy, easy to blend and buildable! I also swatched them on my wrist for you :) Please excuse my extreme paleness ^^’
That’s it for today… again I didn’t take pictures of my wearing the blushes, I’ve been doing laundry and cleaning all day so I’m not wearing any make-up at all! Oups!!

After struggling for months financially, I finally got my first paycheck a little while ago and I decided that I deserved a little gift from me to me with all my love before putting everything in my savings account for my trip to Korea… so I got myself a few lashes and I received the Dolly Winks first!
I ordered from a ebayer located in California who had great reviews and I was surprised that I received them in 3 days!! So definitely check them out, they have a wide selection of Japanese Cosmetics at a very decent price!
I don’t think any more reviews are needed on Dolly Wink lashes: everyone agrees that they are good quality and frankly, worth the money. I like the Natural Girly no3 the most but the lashes are a bit long…I have low eyebrows so the lashes touch my eyebrows and it’s a little awkward. I’ve read similar reviews where people suggested to trim them down a bit to make them perfect!
Again, I want to thank you guys and girls for sticking with me and to keep reading my blog even tho my entries lately haven’t been the best. I’ve been working 5-6 days a week and I have dedicated myself entirely to my job. I’m really happy where I am right now and I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate every single comment you write :) I’m always happy when I get a notification about a comment! Now that I’m not a newbie at work anymore (after a month, I lost my newbie status haha) I can take time after work for… well non related work activities so I will blog more often from now one!

I didn’t want to leave with yesterday’s instagram half-assed self promotion so I decided to check out a few magazines and share with you my latest outfit inspirations :)
It seems I haven’t posted any Jelly collages lately so I thought it would be nice to start out with this mag! I found a whole lot of coords that are amazing for the summer time! Now I just wish I would dress like this everyday but I have a work “uniform” and I’m too lazy to change at work… I’ll save the fashion for my off days!
Did you like Jelly’s June issue? I thought it was amazing for coords this month! :D Scans are a courtesy of the lovely Laura! Give her some love: she’s the best for uploading j-mags scans!
