Video: room tour!

Hi everyone!

How are you all doing? :) Today is Saint-Jean Baptiste, a national holiday here in Quebec. To be honest… I don’t really care that much about this year’s celebration… I’m kinda bored since every year it’s the same old public display of drunkenness and that doesn’t interest me. Besides, I’m working tomorrow anyway XD

On another subject, I recently cleaned my room and thought it would be nice to finally show you what it looks like! Like I’ve said before, it’s not anything special but I hope you still like it since it’s my first vlog-ish video haha.

Sorry if sometimes my English is weird… I get mixed up between Frend and English sometimes!

Maxi dress: Urban Behaviour

After a long but fun week at work, I decided to rest at home and relax before starting work again tomorrow… but the weather is so nice that I thought it would be nice to take outfit picture in my backward! I like this outfit when I feel like wearing something simple but pretty :)

I took quite a lot of picture so here are the ones that I liked the most hehe! Have a nice day!

Decoden: Ipod case + inspiration

Hi everyone! How was your week-end?

I stayed home and relaxed :) With the Grand Prix frenzy in Montreal, I didn’t really feel like going out so I stayed in, rested and caught up with my Korean dramas haha!

Last week, I finished modifying my iPod Touch case and here is the final result.

I dropped it so a few pearls fell off but I have already reglued those haha. To be honest, I find my previous design a lot better then this one: I wanted to use the pink bow I had but unfortunately, I broke it when ungluing it! Anyway, it turned out cute and I’ve received a lot of praise at work. =) I’m planning on making a new cover soon and I was looking at July’s edition of Deco Deco and thought it would be nice to share the pages that inspired me the most for my next design!

A lot of pink, characters and sweets! The page that inspired me the most was the Rilakkuma page: I really want my next case to be Rilakkuma themed!!! Time for deco materials shopping! If you have any deco websites that I should check out, let me know! :D

Popsiter July 2011

Hi everyone! How are you all?

I had a fabulous day at work: I have never received such a warm welcome when starting a new job before! I’m used to a competitive environment but it’s really not the case here. Everyone is so welcoming and willing to help you: they really weren’t sugar coating it when they said it was like a big family!

I’m really tired but I wanted to post my picks for July’s Popsiter!

I don’t really feel like commenting my picks today but you can see 2 themes really caught my eye this month! Again, the obsession with socks + heels dominates each coords haha!

I’m about to fall asleep on my keyboard, sweet dreams! 04

Flower shoes

Hi everyone! How are you all? e000_012

I have a day off from my very intensive training for my job: it is a lot of fun and I have already made friends with a lot of my new co-workers! I can’t wait to work more :) Since I’ve been so busy, I haven’t updated both this blog and my Twitter so to make up, I thought I should you my summer shoes!

Instead of taking pictures in my room like I usually do, I thought it would be nice to give you a tour of my backyard: my mum spends so much time gardening, it needs to be showed off a little bit!

I bought these shoes recently at Spring: they were on sale for 29,99$ instead of 49,99$! I was quite happy because I first spotted these online but my size wasn’t available. After visiting two stores, I finally found my size! I simply couldn’t walk away without them :) And to reward my efforts, I was given an extra 10% discount after convincing the cashier that I had left my SPC card home (when I don’t actually have one… teehee~)

I bought these sandales yesterday at H&M while shopping with a new co-worker! They were really comfortable despite their height (17cm!) and even better, they were 29,99$ instead of 60$!

I got these shoes a few years ago at Payless but never got the chance to wear them: I got a Wide size by mistake and I couldn’t exchange them because they were on clearance T_T Luckily, with a bit of padding and filly socks (which are really in this summer!) I can finally wear these shoes! I don’t remember how much they cost me but I think they were under 15$ for sure!

For no-heels day, I got these shoes back in January during Spring’s huge New Year’s sale: they were only 10$ so I also got them in black. Both are quite nice for retro looks :)

I hope you have nice weather where you are right now! If not, here are a few extra flower shots from our garden: I hope these cheer you up a little bit!

Hi everyone? How have you all been?

Despite my random rant last week, I’m doing great! I’ve been missing in action a little bit because I finally have a new job and there were a few important steps to complete before I really start my training next week end! I’m really excited: I’m finally getting out of the hospitality field and I’m looking forward to face this new challenge!

Since this will be my last week before I have work again, I’ve been making a lot of plans with my friend Ariane since she is leaving Montreal to go back to her hometown! I’m so bummed so I’m trying to see her as much as possible before she leaves!

IMG_0805No full outfit post sorry! H&M blouse, Cancan Hat, Smart Set Jean shorts, F21 necklace and bangles

Today I met her at a beauty academy and then we met with her boyfriend and her brother: it was such a nice day, we decided to have a few drinks on a terrasse on Crescent street!

The sangria was nice and refreshing since it was a very hot day. Even thought it was windy, the wind was hot and not refreshing at all haha.

We then moved to Atti and ate Korean food! It was going back: the only times I have been at Atti was with Braeden and I had promised him that we would go back together again… woops! I’m sorry Oppa, I didn’t go with you haha

Ariane had galbi while I had japchae. The boys had kimchi jigae (is he crazy… spicy food in this heat??) and bulgogi! Yum yum! I didn’t have time to take a picture of the guys’ plates… while ariane were carefully taking pictures of our food… the guys were already halfway done!

I don’t usually post food pictures but Atti has such a nice way of presenting Korean food: most Korean restaurants are family-type restaurant so you only see this kind of presentation and decor at Atti! I’m not gonna go Marie-Claude Lortie on you guys but the prices are also very reasonable, the atmosphere is nice and the food is yummt :). Check it out!

On a side note, I’m letting my bangs grow for a change, letting my forehead see the sun! I took this picture with my friend July. It’s one of the rare picture where I’m wearing my actual glasses haha!
